Used as St Ninian’s Spring in the first season TV series Outlander, the Devil’s Pulpit is a picturesque waterfall in Finnich Glen. Found within a 100-foot gorge, the waterfall gets its name from the formation of the rock pool beneath it. Not only is it shaped a little like an altar, but the red sandstone beneath gives the water a devilish atmosphere.
