Lying on the border hills, near Stobo village is 65 acres of gardens for visitors to stroll around. These Dawyck Botanic Gardens are most famed for the outstanding collection of trees, some dating back as far as 1680. Here you’ll see Giant Sierra Redwoods, Douglas Fir, Scottish Pine and more. No matter the season there is always a stunning array of colourful plants such as rhododendrons, snowdrops, bluebells or poppies. Walk round as you please or take one of the themed trails. This is a lovely day out for all the family.
