These three stone columns are located in the picturesque village of Portobello, on Edinburgh’s outskirts. It is a bit of a mystery how they ended up in the community garden on the promenade, but nevertheless they’re well worth visiting. Made from an almost completely weatherproof material called ‘Coade’, they are likely in as good a condition today as they did when they were constructed.
