NextNamed after a group of 3 Balnuaran of Clava cairns east of Inverness, the Clava Cairns are an example of Bronze Age chamber tomb cairns in a circular pattern. Free to visit and open all year to visitors, this ancient cemetery is a mysterious and fascinating sight. Beautifully preserved, it enables visitors to get a taste of 4,000 years of Scottish history.
