NextJust three miles north of Wick are the remains of Castle Sinclair. A scheduled monument consisting of two castles from the 15th and 17th centuries respectively, the first castle was likely built around 1480. Once the ancestral home of the Earls of Caithness, it’s now cared for by the Clan Sinclair Trust.
