On the way to Carsaig Bay is a rather indistinctive phone box – with a rather surprising history. Used in the 1945 film ‘I Know Where I’m Going’ directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, the phone box was saved from destruction by local movie fans and placed on the road to the bay and it now is Category B Listed by Historic Scotland.
