This is an old stone building with a more recent stone end built by my brother Donald Icky Maclachlan – stonemason. It is very basic but it does have double glazing.
The track down into the bay at Camuslusta is very steep. Although some people can find this a bit daunting, the track has a fairly good surface and all the residents of Camuslusta drive normal cars up and down it daily.
The front door of the bothy practically opens onto the beach. Although the track to our house runs between the bothy and the shore.
