Created by an anonymous artist, these ten mysterious sculptures began appearing in libraries and other cultural institutions all over Edinburgh in 2011. As more and more appeared, the sculptures – which are constructed from old books – began to garner media attention. They can be found in a number of locations around the city, including the Scottish Poetry Library and the National Library of Scotland lobby. Both the author and the exact meaning of the artworks remain unclear.
