NextChallenge yourself with walking the formidable Ben More in the Crianlarich Hills. This daunting mountain is the 16th highest mountain in Scotland so it’s name meaning ‘Big Hill’ in gaelic comes as no surprise.
The route starts at a car park on the shores of Loch Lubhair, from there you follow the road down to Benmore Farm. The route involves a steep climb up the Sron nam Forsairean ridge.
If you have the time, you can also extend your hike and take on Stob Binnein, which is roughly the same height as Ben More.
This munro may be quite challenging, but you are rewarded with some excellent views over the Trossachs.
