Ben Alder

One of Scotland’s most remote munros, Ben Alder is the highest mountain in this region of the Highlands. Also home to one of the highest bodies of standing water in Britain, the mountain featured prominently in the Robert Louis Stevenson novel, ‘Kidnapped’.
