Bellahouston Park

Bellahouston Park is an extensive green space located to the south-west of Glasgow City Centre. The park first opened to the public in 1896 and was extended several times over the next few years, before hosting the Empire Exhibition in 1938. Within its 169 acres, the park provides Glaswegians with areas to relax and unwind, formal gardens, a designated dog area, sports centre, an Alice in Wonderland themed maze, an orienteering course, play areas, a bowling green, an educational allotment garden, an outdoor cycle track and even a ski and snowboard centre. Bellahouston Park is also home to House for an Art Lover, a beautiful arts and exhibition centre.
