Balloch Castle Country Park

Spanning 200 acres of Loch Lomond, the Balloch Castle Country Park is the only estate of its kind in the region. First developed in the 19th century, the park is now home to a variety of activities and things to see, including the baronial-style Balloch Castle, nature trails and walled gardens. It also hosts annual concerts and the area’s Highland Games.

Situated in the Balloch Castle Country Park, this magical attraction takes you on a journey through the park to find some interesting carved tree stumps, fairy houses and other interesting pieces along the way.

It was the creation of a local tree surgeon named Patrick Muir, and has been a big success with tourists and locals alike.

The Balloch Castle Country Park is a 19th century private estate which has lots of fascinating attractions including a Chinese Garden, Secret Garden, Walled Gardens, Pleasure Grounds and some fun woodland walks and nature trails over the 200 acre park.
