Head to the north of Glen Coe, Aonach Eagach is a rocky ridge overlooking the ‘Devil’s Staircase’. With steep slopes on either side, it’s a popular site for ‘scrambling’, a technique of walking up steep hills using your hands. It’s now seen as the country’s most difficult scrambling location.
