Airds Bay is on Loch Etive close to the village of Taynuilt. In fact you can walk from Taynuilt if you are travelling by bus or train. This is a lovely quiet spot with spectacular views of Loch Etive and the surrounding mountains.
There are some really scenic walks from here and along the way you could spot such wildlife as basking sharks, otters, osprey, eagles and deer. There’s a number of Munros in the area if you are into hillwalking.
There are mountain bike tracks and also if you like watersports, canoeing and kayaking on the loch so plenty to do if you are the outdoor type. Also Airds Bay is not far from Oban where you can find restaurants, bars and entertainment.
