Discovered by excavators for the National Trust for Scotland, the Achtrioachan Cottage is a thatched dwelling that existed in the previously lost city of the same name. A witness to some of Scottish history’s most bloody battles in the heart of Glen Coe, it’s believed to have been lived in by Clan MacDonald during the Jacobite Uprising.
