If a hotel is more your thing then the Isle of Skye has you covered. There are hotels close to the island’s attractions that are warm and welcoming. There are small hotels, boutique hotels, loch-side hotels and larger grand hotels.
We would advise that you consider where you would need to stay first. For instance, if you don’t have transport you would need a hotel close to public transport, in which case Portree would be best. Places like Portree, Dunvegan, Broadford, Uig or Kyleakin are large enough to have restaurants, pubs, and shops if you prefer to have these facilities.
If you want to get away from it all and have a quiet peaceful holiday then try Edinbane, Flodigarry, Raasay, Sleat or Carbost.
Whatever type of hotel you decide you would like please be aware that you will need to book early as they all get fully booked in the summer months.
