The car ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick is very comfortable and takes only 55 minutes. Ardrossan is only half an hour from Glasgow by car and there is a train service from Glasgow Central. However you may want to time your visit to incorporate one of Arran’s many festivals including Arran Folk Festival.
