Thanks for your question! it’s great to hear you want to visit the Isle of Skye, it’s such a beautiful place with so much to see and do so with limited time, planning is essential.
When planning to visit Skye please bare in mind that it takes around 5 hours from Edinburgh and Glasgow and around 2 hours 40 from Inverness, so it’s always best to bare this in mind when you have only a short trip planned.
To answer your question, it all depends how much you want to see and do. As you have limited time, we would suggest you base your trip around Portree as this is the heart of Skye, check out the Bosville Hotel or the Crofters House for great places to stay near Portree, or check out our Skye accommodation guide here
To maximise your time, it’s advised to get up early, you can check sunrise times here.
So to answer your question, yes it is enough time but be prepared for early starts and lots of walking, check out our Isle of Skye guide for more information about Skye and things to do in the area.
