This year we started sharing interviews with our ‘People of Scotland‘ feature, which gave us the opportunity to get to know a bit more about some of the incredibly talented creatives and business owners that live and work all over Scotland. While doing so, we discovered a lot of incredible products that are made with so much thought and love, and we felt it was a great time to share some of these products and businesses in order to help inspire you while you are on the hunt for the perfect Christmas gift for your nearest and dearest. Browse below for some of our favourites.
Cairn Candle Co.
Cairn Candle Company is located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, and ran by mother and son duo Angie & Fergus. Their hand crafted earth-first luxury candles are available in a varied range of scents & styles, which are all inspired by their beautiful surroundings in the Cairngorms. Having tried many of the candles that Fergus and Angie have crafted, although it was incredibly hard to choose, I would say that a favourite was definitely ‘Wild Lemongrass’, which also looks beautiful in its minimal jar packaging. 2021 Calendar – Scotland Landscape and Wildlife Photography by TravelTwo
‘Scotland For All Seasons’ is a 2021 photography calendar that showcases Scotland’s stunning landscapes and the wildlife that call it their home. Each month features a seasonal photograph from some of our favourite places around Scotland. These include Loch Awe, the Isle of Skye, Eilean Donan Castle, and many more! It also includes some of the best wildlife we’ve been lucky enough to photograph, such as deer and puffins.

Having known Róis from meeting in Glasgow many years ago, it was such a joy to reconnect and discover her beautiful Scottish Sea Glass jewellery. Róis handmakes the jewellery made from pieces of sea tumbled glass collected from shores all over Scotland. The different pieces are all unique and collected from different locations, which makes an ideal gift to give to remind someone of a special place. Linton & Co.
Linton & Co is a recent discovery for us, and we are so glad that we have. Owners Alex and Lara specialise in making brownies and coffee, and we can’t think of a better combination! In this gift guide we are focusing on the brownie boxes, which instantly found themselves in our shopping cart when we saw the photos online. With a selection of flavours to choose from, as well as gluten free available, this surely has to be the perfect gift for anyone that shares our love of brownies.
Mac & Wild Scottish Cocktails
The Mac & Wild drinks cabinet has something truly unique on offer this Christmas for anyone who loves to try out different cocktails. These however are of course Scottish inspired with different choices on offer such as “Bonnie Spritz”, Foraged Old Fashioned” and “Wild Fizz” (pictured above).
Tartan Blanket Co.
The Tartan Blanket Co has been a gem of a find for us this year. Upon discovery and looking through the pages and pages of different scarves and blankets on their website, as well as reading about their process and values, they were an instant hit. This year they have added ‘gift boxes’ to their offering which make the most special gift for life’s celebrations and milestones. They have a choice of pre-made boxes for different occasions to help you get started, or you can tailor them to suit and build your own. Choose from the many scarves and blankets, as well as adding on extra gifts, such as books, sweet treats, mugs, cashmere socks to name but a few. We were even more delighted when the opportunity came along to include the Hidden Scotland magazine as an optional addition to these gift boxes.
