Built in 1832 as a family home, this Georgian property has been brought back to life. Open to non-residents, it is a cosy, relaxing retreat from the stresses that the festive season can bring. It décor is warm and sophisticated, with traditional fare and drinks served simply, but without losing any of its yesteryear glamour.

Or why not enjoy a mulled wine at the Christmas Market

Mulled wine is a must at Christmas. A delicious warm blend of quality red wine with a hint of spice warms us from the inside out and there is no better place to enjoy a glass than at one of the many Christmas markets. Edinburgh’s Christmas runs from November to January and offers many ways to enjoy the view of the city, with plenty of family activities too.
